2. 2. Who is a person of Indian Origin? Àεµ Ãâ½ÅÀÇ »ç¶÷ ÇÑ »ç¶÷Àº?
For the purpose of availing of the facilities of opening and maintenance of bank accounts and investments in shares/securities in India . availingÀÇ ¸ñÀûÀÇ ½Ã¼³À» °³¹æ°ú ÀºÇà °èÁÂÀÇ À¯Áö °ü¸® ¹× ÅõÀÚ ÁÖ½Ä / Áõ±Ç ÀεµÇÕ´Ï´Ù.
A foreign citizen (other than a citizen of Pakistan or Bangladesh) is deemed to be of Indian Origin, if, he, at any time, held and Indian Passport, or he or either of his parents or any of his grand parents was citizen of India by virtue of the Constitution of India or Citizenship Act, 1955 (57 of 1955). ¿Ü±¹ÀÎ ½Ã¹ÎÀ» (ÆÄŰ½ºÅºÀ̳ª ¹æ±Û¶óµ¥½ÃÀÇ ÇÑ ½Ã¹ÎÀÌ ¾Æ´Ñ)´Â Àεµ¿¡ ±â¿ø °ÍÀ¸·Î °£ÁÖ, ¸¸¾à, ±× »ç¶÷Àº ¾ðÁ¦µçÁö ¿©±ÇÀ» °³ÃÖ¿Í Àεµ, ¶Ç´Â ±× Áß Çϳª ¶Ç´Â ±× Áß Çϳª¸¦ ±×ÀÇ ºÎ¸ð ¶Ç´Â ºÎ¸ð°¡ ½Ã¹Î ±×·£µå ÀεµÀÇ Çå¹ý¿¡ ÀÇÇØ ÀεµÀÇ ¹Ì´ö ¶Ç´Â ½Ã¹Î±Ç ¹ý, 1955 (57ÀÇ 1955).
Note: A spouse (not being citizen of Pakistan or Bangladesh) of and Indian citizen or of a person if Indian Origin is also treated as a person of Indian origin for the above purposes provided the bank accounts are opened or investments in shares/securities in India are made by such persons only jointly with their NRI spouses. Reserve Bank has granted general permission to foreign citizens of Indian Origin, whether resident in India or abroad, to purchase immovable property in India for their bonafide residential purpose. ¿¬¹æ Áغñ ÀºÇàÀº ÀϹÝÀûÀÎ ±ÇÇÑÀ» ºÎ¿© Àεµ Ãâ½ÅÀÇ Á¶¼± Á¶¼±ÀÇ ½Ã¹ÎÀº, Àεµ¿¡ÀÖ´Â ¿©ºÎ¸¦ °ÅÁÖÇϰųª ÇØ¿Ü ºÎµ¿»êÀ» ±¸¸Å bonafide ÁÖ°Å ¸ñÀûÀÇ ÀεµÇÕ´Ï´Ù. In respect of residential properties purchased on or after 26 th May 1993 , Reserve Bank considers applications for repatriation of sale proceeds up to the consideration amount remitted in foreign exchange for the acquisition of the property for two such properties. µî·Ï Á¤º¸¿¡¼ ±¸ÀÔÇÑ ÁÖÅÃÀ» Á¸Áß 1993³â 5¿ù ÀÏ ¶Ç´Â ±× ÀÌÈÄ 26 ÀÏ, ¿¬¹æ Áغñ ÀºÇàÀÇ ¸Å°¢ ¼öÀÍÀ» °í·Á ÀÀ¿ë ÇÁ·Î±×·¥À» ¼ÛȯÀ» °í·Á Àμö¸¦À§ÇÑ ¿Üȸ¦ ¼Û±Ý ¾×¼öÀÇ Àç»ê¿¡ ´ëÇÑ 2 °³ÀÇ ±×·¯ÇÑ ¼Ó¼ºÀ»ÇÕ´Ï´Ù.
