1. What is the purpose of this site ?
Real estate sellers/lessors can have free property listings for sale/rent, buyers/renters can have free property requirement listings and real estate related businesses can have business listings for a charge of USD 10/month. We envision a day not far away when LoftyVistas will be used by people around the world for all their real estate needs from the time they hunt for properties to buy or rent, to finding real estate lawyers to assist them in the legal process of purchasing them and later for all real estate needs for their new home, whether it is finding heating companies and plumbers to internet service providers and restaurants in their neighbourhood.
When you list a property, on the last page of the add property wizard, you would get a url as follows http://www.loftyvistas.com/property/userid-ID
You can pull up your property listing using this URL or perform a property lookup by ID on Loftyvistas Home Page below Quick Search form. Multiple listings per user are returned by visiting http://www.loftyvistas.com/property/userid-all

For business listings, you will get a url like http://www.loftyvistas.com/bg/userid-ID
after payment is done (ID# is the identification for an individual listing and can be found in the URL on the page before payment is done in the add business listing wizard) This URL can be released to your clients as your home page. If you have multiple paid listings, all of them are returned as links when you type in the URL http://www.loftyvistas.com/bg/userid-all.
The created business listings can be searched in many ways. Pretty search returns the results as the attractive web pages. For more details check out:

2. How do I set up feature listings on this site?
For this, you have to login to the site. If not registered yet, please register then login.
Once the site administrator approves your ad, it would be listed at the appropriate time depending on space availability.
3. Can I list properties on this site that are also in Multiple Listing Service (MLS) ?
In many countries especially USA and Canada, MLS is a popular real estate and property listing service. At this time, you can list properties listed in MLS on this site with the listing real estate agent's permission.
4. Is my information secure with you ?
All information you release to us and list on this site is covered by our Privacy Policy.
Your information is secure with us and will not be released to anyone without your consent.
5. How do I pay for my listings or ads?
We have setup Paypal for payments. Even if you do not have a Paypal account, you can pay us using a credit card. While paying using a credit card, please ensure you return to Loftyvistas before leaving or closing your browser. There is a quirk in Paypal.com which prevents your transaction from informing our site that it has completed successfully. We have also made it user-friendly by having a popup window with this caveat.
6. I noted you have blogs and forums ..why ?
We are striving to build an online real estate community to allow users to share information and ideas about real estate matters. To this end, we have blog and forum functionalities. The username and password you use for registering for listings, can be used for blog and forum logins also. You are free to create your own blogs and blog away to your heart's content, and if you would like us to create any new forums, please email or call us.
7. What is the currency for price of properties ?
Our preference is to have prices in US Dollars for uniformity, however for some countries, prices maybe in local currency or EURO/British Pound, so please check with the seller. We have provided a link to a currency converter in LoftyVistas.com home page for you to convert your local currency to US Dollars. Price is sale price for "for sale" listings and rent/month for "for rent" listings. One other note is while adding listings please do not enter period or commas for prices, this confuses our search. So, 2 million 3 hundred thousand is entered as 2300000 and not 2,300,000 or 2.300.000
8. I have numerous property listings and do not want to make the effort to enter them into loftyvistas.com, or I am challenged by your user interface to enter property listings.. what can I do ?
For a limited time, we are accepting listings at listings@loftyvistas.com and our data entry team would enter them for you with some wording that is attractive for marketing purposes. We know the real estate market well and know what buyers find appealing in listings. Please email one listing per message (including all pics/images). MS Office and PDF files are fine.
We have also made the interface to input seller, buyer and business listings simple and intuitive, so you are welcome to enter them yourself. We welcome all suggestions to improve this or any other interface.
9. My pictures do not appear clearly. What should I do ?
The first thing to do is when you upload the images to LoftyVistas please ensure they are of good size (not thumbnails).
Once on LoftyVistas, click on the image and it would get enlarged and display much better, probably the same size you uploaded. If you still encounter any difficulties, please email images/pics to listings@loftyvistas.com. Please note we allow a maximum of 20 images per listing.
10. I would like to add description to my listings with better formatting and presentation ? How do I accomplish this ?
We allow 2 attachments in PDF and Microsoft Word formats. Maximum size of each attachment is 3 Mb. We are open to allowing a bigger attachment size, so please contact us if your document is bigger than 3Mb. This feature is available for property listings and business listings.
11. What are Property Alerts?
You can specify what are the types of properties for which you are looking. We would email you matching listings, and when a new listing matching your requirement is added to LoftyVistas, it would be emailed to you automatically. This feature is available for property requirement listings as well.
12. I performed a search for properties but get no search results. What is the reason ?
It is possible we truly do not have matching listings. It is also possible that the price range is the reason. We are not converting between currencies in real time yet, so we suggest you try prices in local currency first. If that does not work, try your prices with other currencies like US$, Euro, GBP.
13. I am worried about buying real estate in countries other than my home country or the country in which I live. Can you improve my comfort levels about this ?
We appreciate your concern. A good number of Europeans buy real estate in Turkey, Egypt, Dubai, and Thailand, while people of Indian origin buy in India though they may reside in other countries. So, you are not alone. Most of the mentioned countries are real estate investor-friendly, and opportunities for good returns exist if you perform some due diligence and use your common sense.
